USA SALES APRIL - VOLVO - The Swedish brand sees sales stay roughly the same as a year ago.
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 4,636 units, holding steady compared to April 2014. Year-to-date sales remain similar to last year. April 2015 was the first month to record registrations of the all new XC90, with 255 arriving in the US.
Sales for the XC60 remained strong, with 1,819 units sold, a 44% increase from April 2014. The S60 was the second-most sold vehicle in April, with 1,301 purchased.
Volvo Cars is midway through a global transformation that involves the complete renewal of Volvo’s product range beginning with the all-new XC90 luxury SUV, world-first safety technologies, a new design language, new powertrain architecture and a range of class-leading connectivity services.
