Mazda6 facelift arrives in Geneva for European debut
Light cosmetic tweaks for a gorgeous car
The lightly revised Mazda6 family has received its European debut this week in Geneva.
One of the most beautiful cars in its segment, the Mazda6 has gained a few subtle revisions noticeable on the front grille and headlight & taillight clusters. There's also a different shark fin antenna, fresh two-tone 19-inch alloys and additional body colors.
More important changes have occurred inside the cabin where there's an electric parking brake, revised center console, reduced panel gaps and more sound-deadening material while the seats have been improved and are available with new upholsteries.
The engine lineup has been carried over but in select markets Mazda is now offering an optional all-wheel drive system. There are some talks about a range-topping MPS / Mazdaspeed version but nothing is official at this point.
