Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V receive Euro debut in Geneva

An alternative to the Germans
Following their North American debut, the Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V have landed in Europe at the Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to tackle the high-performance German cars, the ATS-V and CTS-V are heading to dealerships at yet undisclosed price tags but obviously these won't come cheap as both pack some serious punch underneath the aggressive body which makes use of carbon fiber to shave off weight. Both cars benefit from a series of mechanical tweaks compared to their standard siblings, such as the reinforced chassis, sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes and an electronic limited-slip differential.
The ATS-V Sedan and Coupe will share a twin-turbo V6 3.6-liter engine outputting 455 bhp (339 kW) and 603 Nm (445 lb-ft) of torque channeled to the wheels through a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 8-speed automatic. It needs 3.9 seconds to cover the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) journey and will keep on accelerating until it reaches a top speed of more than 185 mph (297 km/h).
As for the larger CTS-V Sedan , this one gets a beefier supercharged V8 6.2-liter unleashing 640 bhp (477 kW) and 855 Nm (630 lb-ft) sent to the road exclusively through an 8-speed auto. It will run the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 3.7 seconds before hitting a maximum speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). More Photos
