Look What Happens When You Don't Change The Oil In An Audi TT For 84,000 Miles

<- That.

It’s a simple fact that every car owner needs to know: change the engine oil every 5,000 to 10,000 miles (depending on automaker recommendations). Choose to ignore that and there will be negative consequences. But imagine not changing the oil for nearly 84,000 miles. Seriously, somebody didn’t do that with their Audi TT 3.2 and, holy crap, the engine now looks like this. First posted to the Audi TDI forum are these horrific photos. There are no words.
How the hell did this guy manage to drive his car without doing basic maintenance for this long? How the hell did the engine even make it this far? We’d love for any mechanics out there to chime in on this, but in the meantime somebody needs to get this guy a permanent bus pass.
