Power bumped by 10 HP

Skoda is currently exhibiting in Geneva a special edition Octavia RS 230 bringing some mechanical upgrades.
It will be available for both liftback and combi versions exclusively with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TSI turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 230 HP (169 kW) which makes it 10 HP (7 kW) more powerful compared to the standard Octavia RS. Thanks to this modest bump in output, 0.1 seconds have been slashed from the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) which now takes 6.7 seconds before the cars hit a top speed of 250 km/h (up by 2 km/h).
Perhaps more important is the addition of a standard electronically-controlled differential front axle lock. It's the first time a Skoda model gets this system which promises to enable "dynamic cornering" for the Octavia RS 230 limited edition which can be had with either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed DSG.
Skoda has announced the Octavia RS 230 will go on sale this June.
